Here is our simple three-step donation process:
- Get in touch with us.
Once you’re ready to donate a car to charity, just contact us. Tell us a bit about the vehicle you’re planning to donate, including its year, make, model, VIN, working condition, and title availability. After verifying all the information you’ve provided us, we’ll call you back for the pickup and towing arrangement.
- We tow your vehicle.
You can pick the date, time, and location for the towing of your vehicle. In case you can’t be around when our driver arrives, just be sure to leave your vehicle’s title and keys inside the vehicle where our driver can easily see them. Remember that without the title and keys, we can’t sell your vehicle.
If you’ve lost your vehicle’s title, let us know by calling us at 866-634-8395 so we can assist you in securing a duplicate copy of your title.
- You receive your tax-deductible receipt.
Once we get hold of your vehicle, we’ll promptly have it sold at auction. All proceeds will go straight to our charity partners. Within 30 days after your vehicle is sold, you’ll receive your 100% tax-deductible sales receipt by mail. The receipt will show your vehicle’s final selling price, which will serve as the basis of one of the tax deductions you can claim when you file your itemized federal tax return in the next tax season.
